TERMS OF BUSINESS
It is the responsibility of the customer to make sure that ALL details are written down clearly and correctly. If it is not written down Window Designs WILL NOT be responsible for errors made due to missing details.
If the contract is made out by a member of the Window Designs team it is the responsibility of the customer to make sure that it is correct BEFORE signing it.
A deposit of 20%, minimum £30 plus vat is required for all orders unless the customer already holds an account.
Any order cancelled or amended after 24 hours of being placed will be subject to an administration fee of £30 plus vat. Orders required in 5 working days or less will be subject to an administration fee if cancelled or amended at any time.
Any order cancelled or amended after 48 hours of being placed may be subject to further charges at the discretion of Window Designs, dependant on how far it has progressed. If the order is required in 5 working days or less, any cancellations or amendments made at any point after order many be subject to further charges at the discretion of Window Designs.
Any amendments made to an order may delay its progress and completion.
NO orders may be cancelled 4 working days prior to due date.
Window Designs manufactures its products to meet the required U values and/or Energy Ratings. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the products ordered meets any other building regulation and/or specification necessary.
If a delivery is required it must be arranged with the office staff as it is NOT automatically assumed necessary.
Unless it is local, deliveries will be chargeable.
Deliveries must be arranged at least 5 working days in advance and are subject to availability.
Two hour time slots will be given for deliveries.
Window Designs will do their upmost to inform the customer of any delays but will not accept charges for shortfalls or late deliveries.
There MUST be somebody present at the delivery address that is able to both take responsibility for signing for the delivery and helping the driver to unload the goods.
Any missed deliveries due to the customer, will be subject to a RE-DELIVERY charge.
ALL ORDERS MUST BE PAID FOR IN FULL BEFORE THE DELIVERY. Window Designs will not make the delivery if it is not paid.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that payment has been made.
Claims for shortages or damaged goods must be made within 2 working days of delivery.
If a replacement is made due to damage and at the cost of Window Designs the original must be kept and returned to the factory for inspection, within 3 working days of receiving the replacement.
If Window Designs find the original damaged product not the fault of the factory, the customer will be contacted and arrangements made.
